May 11, 2023Though February is (un)officially the, “Month of love,” it’s filled with various other holidays and marketing opportunities!
Valentine’s Day most certainly commands the most attention, and accounts for the highest spending, there’s more to celebrate, and leverage, than romantic love. Consider going beyond the obvious and celebrate other types of love with your customers and followers.
By celebrating holidays like North American Inclusion Month (NAIM), Black History Month, Youth Leadership Month, International Friendship Month, and American Heart Month, you can help your readers to celebrate and show love for the community, family, friends, pets, and others!

With a little creativity, many of the February holidays may be aligned with love! Especially considering one of the best expressions of love is taking care of it. Whether it be love for ourselves, our family, friends, pets, or our community.
To help celebrate and express the spectrum of loves we carry in our hearts, consider launching February email marketing campaigns centered on showing, expressing, taking care of, and caring for, your loves!
Here are a few ways to do so:
- Educate: Create a branded whitepaper, infographic, or downloadable guide. It can be about self-care, getting involved with the community, caring for others, or even caring for a pet. Post it to your website and leverage it across your social media and email marketing. Be sure to create something that is engaging, easy to read, and easy to share, so your audiences are more likely to share the content and help you increase brand awareness and drive traffic to your online accounts.
- Be Proactive: Express your company and/or brand’s love for community by partnering with a local charity, after-school program, trade organization, or other charitable group or partner to raise money and drive awareness around a specific need or cause.
- Do Something Special: Though everyone appreciates a discount, doing something “special” goes a little further. Consider creating a bundle of products or services that you can provide your loyal customers. The options are virtually endless – whether it’s a combination of your own products in a gift basket or bundle with complementary goods from another company or brand, services that are discounted for a limited time when purchased as a bundle, or an exclusive event or promo, making your customers feel like VIPs goes a long way in building brand loyalty.
