Frequently Asked Questions

Our answers to the most commonly asked questions.

What type of products and services do you provide?
Good question! We are a unique print manufacturing firm specializing printing one-off stickers, posters, short-run gift wrap, and table runners. Our primary client base includes e-Commerce artist reseller markets, licensing and branding firms, as we serve as a trade printer for other commercial printing firms. We invite you to learn more about our products and see if we can collaborate!
How do I go about getting a quote or pricing from your firm?
Let's Collaborate! We are a wholesale B2B Trade Printer, meaning we do not sell directly to the general public. Our agile system seamlessly integrates with e-Commerce websites to enable their customers to order directly from their site and we handle the rest! Interested partners are invited to submit your information so we can accurately understand your current business model and needs. If you’re an artist or in the early stages of becoming a new e-Commerce store, please share as much information as you can so we can evaluate how best we can support you. We also invite you to contact our Business Development Manager to discuss your specific needs.
What resolution do graphics files need to be?

We request you to send your artwork over to us at the following resolutions, based on product type:

1) Poster Designs: Please submit in either a Vector PDF (preferred) or a JPG (300 dpi) format.

2) Sticker Art Files: Please submit as a transparent PNG file at 200dpi, in PNG24(32) format. Files not @ 200dpi will be treated as-if they are 200dpi, so a 100x100px image will be handled as ½“ regardless of dpi specified in file.

Maximum artwork size is 2 5/8” x 3 5/8” (or 525 x 725 pixels). Artwork may be provided landscape or portrait (525 x 725 or 725 x 525 pixels).

Artwork submitted in larger formats will be scaled to fit within the specified maximum size.

3) Gift Wrapping Paper: Please submit gift wrap designs in either a vector PDF file format (preferred) or a JPG (200 dpi) format. Design images must be in a tiled (repeatable) pattern. The “repeat” match is the responsibility of the client. We will check all artwork to insure tiles match prior to printing!

Can I send you artwork that I downloaded from the Internet?
Pictures and graphics pulled from the internet are often low resolution, typically 72 dpi or 96 dpi. Please avoid submitting these graphics as they will appear pixilated (grainy) and blocky when printed.
I never know whether to save my graphics file in RGB or CMYK mode. Does it matter?

When possible, please save all artwork in RGB mode, not CMYK mode. Images saved in CMYK mode tend to have a restricted Gamut and won't match screen colors. If you are unable to save your image in RGB mode, please let us know and we will do our best to assist you.

When designing black backgrounds used in a graphic elements, to be embedded into a document, please make sure to use RGB Black rather than a CMYK – Black-only option. The RGB Black prints in a darker, richer black which looks much better on the final print.

Does your firm send proofs prior to printing?
Our printing facility is fully–automated to ensure the maximum efficiency to print and ship thousands of one-off product units each day. Due to our specific workflows, we are unable to offer proofs. All artwork should be submitted to us print ready. If you carefully inspecting your own artwork or designer’s proof before sending us your art file, we assure you will receive an accurate, flawless delivery of your print job on the first run.
Why do the printed colors look different from the colors on my screen?

In short, printers and monitors produce colors in different ways.

Monitors use the RGB (red, green, blue) color model, which usually supports a wider spectrum of colors. Printers use the CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model, which can reproduce most—but not all—of the colors in the RGB color model. Depending on the equipment used, CMYK generally matches 85–90% of the colors in the RGB model.

When a color is selected from the RGB model that is out of the range of the CMYK model, the application chooses what it thinks is the closest color that will match. Programs like Adobe Photoshop allow you to choose which color will be replaced. Others may not.

What is the Pantone Matching System (PMS)?
The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a color reproduction standard in which colors across the spectrum are each identified by a unique, independent number. Our printing systems are calibrated using Onyx’s industry-recognized G7 Color and Media Profiling software and RIP standards. If you use PMS colors in your artwork, our systems are accurately profiled to precisely match colors and maintain color consistency throughout the printing process.
Is white considered a printing color?
Not typically. Because white is the default color of paper used in posters and gift wrap medias, as well as the vinyl used in our stickers, it is simply recognized as the absence of any ink. However, when we print clear transparent stickers, white ink is required and applied where the text or graphics requires it.
Once I submit the documents, how long does it take to finish my job?
Stickers and posters are generally produced and shipped within 24-48 hours from the receipt of order. Short-run and customized gift wrapping paper is printed and shipped in under four business days.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept company checks and all major credit cards. We also offer business accounts. We bill bimonthly, net 30 days. Please contact us to learn more.
Do you offer digital storage?
We do not currently offer any digital art storage for our clients. However, if you would like to discuss an annual agreement for storage of your artwork, please contact us for assistance. We understand some partners may have frequently used artwork or daily/weekly drop ship programs (an example being branded gift wrap designs) and we can provide a list of trusted cloud storage firms we trust and recommend.
What is variable data printing?
Variable data printing utilizes technology for printing documents such that each piece is personalized to the specific recipient. At the most basic level, this means personalizing a name and address. But for real impact, a variable data project might include using a static gift wrap background “tiled design” pattern that can be personalized by adding a different dealer address, names, logos, personalized photos, unique graphics, and/or text content that speaks directly to the recipient.
What does personalization mean?
Personalization is another term for variable data. Essentially, technology for printing documents so each piece is personalized to the specific recipient. Personalizing can be as simple as adding a recipient’s name or photos to different printed rolls of gift wrapping paper. For a more sophisticated level of personalization, an order might include adding unique text or images that vary based on data specific to the recipient, data-driven graphics such as illustrating several different regional dealer’s logos, or store names/addresses on each recipient’s roll of a gift wrap.
Does Stickers & Posters offer phone support?
To best serve the needs of our customers, we have found email delivers the clearest, simplest line of communication and is most beneficial to our customers. We are dedicated to replying to all inquiries and invite you to ask us anything! We typically reply to all email inquiries within three hours (during normal business hours) and maintain our line of communication until each customer is completely satisfied! Please contact us for assistance!
How long does it take to produce and ship orders?
We print all products on-demand and strive to ship all items in two business days or less.
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8AM – 5PM CST. Any questions or concerns submitted during the weekend will be promptly responded to on the following business day.
It’s been 48 hours since I messaged you and I have not yet received a response?
Please check your SPAM folder. We respond to most inquiries in less than three hours but unfortunately, they can land in your SPAM or trash folders. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM CST, so questions and concerns received over the weekend are promptly responded to on the next business day.
The USPS Tracking Number says delivered, but my customer didn’t receive their order. What should I do?

We sincerely apologize if your items were not received. While we take every measure to ensure your products are printed and shipped in a timely manner, we ship via our partners’ preferred shipping partners and have no control over their delivery. If products are not received, we recommend you have your customer check with their neighbors to see if they possibly have the package or check their local post office or courier.

At times, UPS will show a package as delivered but they have delivered it to a local post office to make the final delivery. You can contact UPS or your local post office with the tracking number and they can provide more updates.

Once shipped, all domestic delivery issues become the responsibility of USPS. You may contact them at (800) 275-8777. If you have contacted USPS already and you aren’t getting the support you need, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

Why isn't my tracking number working?
Tracking numbers often function on domestic orders only. Foreign postal systems rarely update the location of the package in your courier’s systems. If your order is domestic and the tracking number is not working, please contact us so we can verify your items were shipped properly.
How do I cancel my order?
To meet the highest level of delivery efficiency, Stickers And Posters products are printed on-demand. We pull orders 3-4 times per day, beginning 5:00-6:00AM CST, and immediately send to production. If an order is routed over to us after 6:00 PM CST the prior day, if you send us a cancellation email request before 6:00 AM, we will do our best to cancel it. Orders that hit our docket on Saturday or Sunday, or on weekdays between 3:00 -6:00 PM CST, are easier to cancel before printing. When requesting a cancellation, please include the Order Number, SKU, and Customer Ship To as this information helps us locate the order. We literally print thousands upon thousands of items each per day, so finding your order can be like finding a needle in a haystack!, but we try to do our best! If the order has already been printed in production and not yet shipped, please contact us so we can work with you directly to find a solution.
How do I change the shipping address on my order?
If your order has not yet shipped, we can take care of this for you! Please contact us for assistance with your address change. If your order has already been shipped, we encourage you to contact the courier, directly.
In the event of a production error, where do I ship my client’s return?
Typically, there is never a need to return a production error to our facility. In the event an error occurs as the result of an issue with the client artwork or digital file being improperly saved to printable quality, we are issue a credit. Our staff closely monitors products throughout production line, for any potential manufacturing errors caused by a faulty press, ink, or media. If/when we identify an error, we reprint the item. While we do our best to catch any and all production errors, we print thousands upon thousands of items each day and some errors may go unnoticed. If a customer receives another’s item, you get to keep it and we will reprint and reship your original order at no charge. We strive for perfection and closely track our production errors…on average, we log one error per month, 12 per year. We also average printing 3,750,000 items per year. So, our average margin of error is 0.0000032!
What happens if we send you the wrong address for our customer?
The bad news is the sender is responsible for sending us the correct address and therefore responsible to the error. The good news is the package will likely be returned to sender, per the address on the shipping label. If you include your firm’s return address, you will be able to update the address and personally reship the order back out to your client. If our address is set as the return address, we will contact you for an updated address. If the package is not returned to sender, you can process a new order to replace the original.
What level of quality can I expect?

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality printed products on the market! Art files sent to us featuring the highest quality image settings in their correct resolution result in the best printed products! Please review the selections here to ensure you are submitting the highest quality files to us.

We guarantee our stickers will not crack, peel, or fade within the first three years.

We also strive to lead in the design of shipping cartons to minimize inherent damages that occur when shipping and delivering posters, gift wrapping paper, and table runners. It’s the simple things like adding a middle insertion tab in our box sealing that helps by adding a gusseted strength point which prevents the crushing of the carton in the center. We also designed a triangular carton vs a round tube to ship a poster or gift wrap. Why? The extra air space created around the product helps cushion the entire circumference around the round product insert. Another benefit the triangular carton offers is a flat surface. Imagine how much easier it is for delivery drivers to stack these in transit versus round tubes that roll around, fall off shelves, and get thrown around in the back of the truck!

The custom designed envelopes we use to ship our stickers in feature a heavy weight paper that is resistant tearing and prevents abrading the stickers carefully packed inside. It’s also 100% recyclable!

Can posters be printed 2-sided, for hanging in a window
All our glossy and sticky back repositionable posters are printed on wide-format printers using roll-fed media. Consequently, an image can only be printed on the front side and the back is white. We have a specialty hybrid latex printer that is capable of printing on two sides of any rigid substrate like a styrene, coroplast sign materials, acrylic, and some varying white chipboard like media substrates. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact us.
How do I know if the image I am selecting is high enough quality to print?
