What S&P Can Do, to Make a Difference
April 3, 2020We’re Thankful for You!
November 23, 2021Summa, an international supplier of the highest-quality vinyl and contour cutters, finishing flatbeds, and laser cutters, recently informed us we are cutting more stickers using our Summa cutting systems than any other client, globally! We were honored to be highlighted in their case study and began wondering, just how many stickers 35 million really represents?
Based on 35 million stickers:
The average sticker = 3 inches
35 million x 3 inches = 105,000,000 inches
105,000,000 inches / 12 = 8.750,000 feet
=1,657 miles
How much is this, really? To help depict just how many miles and feet 35 million stickers represents, we created this fun infographic!
How does printing ONE translate into printing millions of stickers for your business.
To put it into perspective…
On an average day, StickersAndPosters.com prints 10,000 -15,000 stickers each day. During our busy times, such as the holiday season, that total spikes to 30-40,000 stickers per day. Factoring in current events often creates an influx of orders, as was the case last fall, when the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsberg triggered over 60,000 stickers orders (per day) in less than 48 hours, making our annual 2020 sticker production quite impressive!
“One-Off” Printing, On-Demand
StickersAndPosters.com specializes in “One-off” printing of posters, stickers, and wrapping paper. We print and ship thousands of orders each day, often as single stickers. The secret to our success is printing and shipping ONE and we have cornered this market. As we pride ourselves on our ability to offer on-demand printing of orders with minimum quantities of one, prior to Summa reaching out to us, we had never considered exactly how many ONE can be?
Based on Summa’s count and our internal estimates, StickersAndPosters.com print and cut an average of 7,830,000 stickers last year (2020). To help achieve these numbers, our firm invested in 7 vinyl cutters from Summa (specifically S Class 2 T160 type cutters with True Tangential cutting technology. Prior to the investment of the vinyl cutters, stickers were printed and cut separately using flatbed cutters. By upgrading our print equipment to safer and instant-dry Latex printers and adding Summa’s cutting systems, we’ve achieved our highest levels of production! Thanks to our amazing partners and customers, we look forward to continued growth!
